Affordably Connect Between Two or More Locations

Merit Network offers a commercial-grade, fiber-optic connection between two locations in Michigan with its Merit Transport Service. Using Merit's high-speed fiber-optic network, data can be transferred between two or more locations using this dedicated path. Merit offers 1 Gigabit-per-second (Gbps) and 10 Gbps connections between Merit Transport nodes on its network, linking to your facilities in a Merit Transport-eligible location.

The service is ideal for:

Providing a backup connection between two locations, giving your organization peace of mind.
Connecting an Internet Service Provider to a wholesale Internet service provider.
Linking two remote locations with a dedicated fiber-optic connection.
Transmitting data to an off-site backup facility or data center.

Merit Transport Node Locations

Merit Network operates an advanced fiber-optic network across Michigan and can provision a private link through rural areas to Merit Transport nodes in the Upper and Lower Peninsula.

The Merit Transport Service provides a 1 Gbps or 10 Gbps dedicated connection with no metered usage or mileage. Your organization is responsible for providing the connection from your facility to the Merit Transport node.
