Merit Network will host a free webinar on Thursday, July 12 at 11:00 AM EST on its new federated identity management service, Merit Michigan ID. The webinar will explain the new service and the concept of a Federation, discuss example use cases, benefits, how to get started and answer questions.

Merit Michigan ID enables participating organizations to provide access to shared resources, applications and content over Merit's trusted network via a single sign-on (SSO) account. The federation not only makes it easier for Merit Members to collaborate and share resources over Merit's trusted network, but it makes that exchange even more secure.
