ANN ARBOR, Mich. - In recent weeks, Merit Network hosted a webcast update on its REACH-3MC fiber project and a webinar
about IPv6. Archived videos of both web events are available through the Merit web site:
- REACH-3MC Update Webcast
Merit Network's management team provided details on REACH-3MC construction, implemntation timeline, and project communication, as well as information on how to get connected.
- "Ready or not...IPv6 is here" Webinar
John Curran of ARIN discussed how organizations should be preparing for the challenges of IPv4 depletion and IPv6 adoption. He also discussed best practices for making the transition as seamless as possible and highlight the key elements an organization must consider during the IPv6 adoption process.
Merit will be hosting a free webinar, Are You Managing Your Vendors?, at 11 a.m. on September 15, 2011.
Theresa Rowe, chief information officer at Oakland University, will offer tips on ensuring that vendors deliver as promised and
