Google finally unveils Chrome for Mac, Linux
News in brief: Google browser goes multiplatform with beta launch

The wait is over: Google has finally brought out a version of its Chrome
browser for Mac and Linux operating systems.
The beta browsers, announced yesterday, are a version of Chrome that had
previously been available only as a developer preview.
The Mac and Linux Chrome browsers are expected to graduate to the next
level of maturity, "stable", on 12 January.
